    Aufgaben

    You will be the driver of the integrated Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process in high-tech production environment (semiconductors,). Your primary goal is to align cross-functional stakeholders (Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Sales) to effectively balance demand and supply, optimize factory utilization, maximize revenue, and optimize inventory while ensuring strategic alignment with the long-term Integrated Business Plan (IBP). This role focuses on connecting strategic and tactical planning horizons (18+ months) and to ensure robust capacity alignment and drive critical decisions like CapEx and outsourcing strategies.

    • Own and govern the end-to-end S&OP process cycle, ensuring timely completion of all milestones in the S&OP calendar
    • Perform advanced supply/demand analysis to consolidate integrated overviews and facilitate executive decision-making
    • Lead Forecast Review and Gap Closure meetings, defining clear action plans to ensure revenue and business objectives are met
    • Act as the final authority for S&OP capacity release, validating high-quality, actionable supply feedback
    • Ensure message consistency and alignment across all critical S&OP platforms (e.g., Demand/Capacity Boards, CapEx Reviews)
    • Facilitate and prepare the monthly S&OP Executive Review, including clear report-outs and follow-up action tracking for the Management Team (MT)
    • Govern and standardize capacity modeling methodologies, driving requirements for advanced planning system enhancements
    • Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of critical S&OP master data to maintain planning integrity
    • Conduct rigorous supply chain stress tests and scenario analysis to quantify and highlight potential business risks and opportunities
    • Integrate Product Lifecycle Management (NPI/EOL) into the capacity planning process to proactively manage demand transitions

    Profil
    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree (MSc preferred) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, or Capacity Management, preferably within a high-tech production environment (e.g.,semiconductor,electronics, automotive manufacturing)
    • Strong hands-on experience in an end-to-end Supply Chain, Logistics, or Factory Planning function
    • Advanced proficiency in strategic Advanced Planning Systems (APS) (e.g., BlueYonder, Kinaxis, SAP APO/IBP) and ERP systems
    • Proven expertise in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) tools, specifically Microsoft Power BI, for reporting, analysis, and dashboard creation. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential
    • Exceptional communication and influencing skills with a proven ability to manage diverse, cross-functional, and global stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Manufacturing
    • Highly action-oriented and able to drive decisions in ambiguous situations
    • Fluent professional English is mandatory, German language skills are beneficial

    Aufgaben

    The purpose of the Equipment Engineering Manager (d/m/f) is to support the production with the required equipment uptime and performance to reach the FAB goals: wafers out, at the right time, cost and quality and satisfy our customers and related stakeholders.

    • Full responsibility for the Equipment engineering team: inspire and motivate the team by conveying ams OSRAM leadership principles and core values, coach and assist team members with their individual development
    • Break down TMD´s (Top Must Do´s ) goals for the individual area
    • Drive data-based discussions to conclusion/decisions
    • Request & monitor relevant KPI´s and coach the Group Managers to interpret their KPI data and define measures if required
    • Support Task Force teams with resources, steering and information flow
    • First level escalation to suppliers and internal stakeholders & first level communication revision to customers
    • Contribute to quality and customer audits and drive actions
    • Coordinate and prioritize CIP´s and projects (define different types of projects: e.g. cost reduction, capacity increase, equipment robustness)
    • Ensure safe work environment
    • Apply and ensure manufacturing principles (lean), problem solving techniques (Six Sigma)
    • Improve cost of ownership of tools by optimizing Uptime, MTTR

    • Successfully completed degree (bachelor's/master's) in electrical, automation or mechatronics engineering or similar
    • 5+ years of experience managing multiple maintenance or engineering teams, ensuring operational coverage and high performance
    • Knowledge of systems for manufacturing process, equipment stability and cost control
    • Good understanding of manufacturing and lean principles, with practical application of structured problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma
    • Clear and structured communication skills combined with prioritization and coordination skills
    • Continuous improvement orientation and high flexibility
    • Demonstrated ability to make rapid decisions in time‑sensitive environments
    • Proficiency in English mandatory, good German is beneficial

    • Standardization of data quality, interfaces, documentation, and governance

    • Experience in computer vision and/or time‑series analysis (e.g., FDC, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, process control)
    • Solid knowledge of statistics and data‑driven root‑cause analysis (e.g., correlation, regression models, hypothesis testing), as well as skills in data engineering and MLOps (SQL, Git, Docker, CI/CD, model monitoring)

    Your new responsibilities


    • Building and operating scalable data pipelines for sensor, log, process, time‑series, and FDC data (edge/server, integration with FDC/MES/R2R/SPC)
    • Ensuring data quality, standards, and data governance (interfaces, documentation, semantics/metadata, ownership) in close collaboration ("handshake") with IT/OT
    • Technical interface and coordination between manufacturing, engineering, AI key users, and IT/OT; active stakeholder management
    • Support during use‑case intake: analysis of new use cases, development/maintenance of a use‑case funnel, prioritization and preparation for management decisions
    • Guidance from PoCs to full production solutions, including scaling across lines/sites
    • Operationalization in production: monitoring, drift/change management, continuous improvement

    • Completed university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or an equivalent scientific/technical field
    • Professional experience in Data Science / Machine Learning / Traditional AI in a manufacturing environment
    • Project experience in AI and data‑science environments, as well as experience with manufacturing processes and industrial analytics
