  CAD DESIGN

  As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing precise 2D drawings and 3D models to support engineering, design, and project management teams. By applying accurate and efficient modeling and documentation practices, you will help ensure projects progress smoothly and remain fully compliant with internal company procedures and relevant industry standards. In addition, BIM model competency is required in this position.

  
  Aufgaben

  • Produce 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor)
  • Create 3D Revit models and Families for use in BIM
  • Maintain, update and work with 3rd party BIM models for integration of AV elements within this environment.
  • Cut Drawings within the Revit Environment for Shop drawing detail level
  • Interpret design sketches, technical data, and specifications
  • Review and update existing CAD models in line with design standards, project requirements, and internal guidelines
  • Prepare as-built drawings
  • Create bills of materials (BOMs), part lists, and production documents
  • Develop simplified representative models, massings, design layouts, and master assemblies
  • Coordinate with other departments, project managers, and site teams
  • Maintain CAD libraries, drawing registers, and project documentation
  • Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Delivery Acceptance Tests (DAT).

  
  Profil

  Professional Qualifications

  • Experience with CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
  • Completed technical education in manufacturing, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • German language skills
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM), including Vault systems and Microsoft BC (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with 2D design software (AutoCAD is an advantage).

  • Communicative and collaborative approach with strong teamwork skills
  • Enthusiastic about assembly, construction, and development processes
