    The impact you'll make

    We are seeking an Employee Relations expert to join our Employee Relations team. In this integral role, you will be responsible for managing employee relations issues and investigations; advising and counseling managers and employees regarding key employment policies, complex leave/disability issues, and performance management; using data to inform decisions and company initiatives, advising/counseling managers and employees, and helping guide the organization toward a more proactive employee relations landscape. Our Employee Relations team is an independent group within our Human Resources function, with a high level of credibility, professionalism, and risk mitigation responsibility.

    What you'll do

    Investigate employee relations concerns, including complaints of unfair treatment contrary to Lam's policies, retaliation and other work-related issues; advise managers on how to manage workplace concerns, recommend appropriate resolution of complaints and monitor results. Provide employee and manager training on core ER topics. In addition:

    • Advise and counsel supervisors/manager across the Lam on how to handle performance issues and concerns
    • Prepare investigative documentation, including interview notes and summary of findings
    • Consult with and provide recommendations to HR Business Partners, managers, and employees about company policies and procedures and the need for compliance
    • Facilitate requests for workplace accommodation
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with assigned teams to anticipate their needs and support them from an HR perspective
    • Analyze data to determine themes and trends, and make proactive recommendations to either mitigate risk or improve the employee experience
    • Maintain professionalism and always provide solutions and guidance that are within legal compliance, relevant and accessible to the employees involved, and consistent with Lam policies and values

    Who we're looking for

    We are seeking an experienced HR/legal professional with a strong background in employee and labor relations. The ideal candidate will bring a solid mix of technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and interpersonal strength to effectively support our workforce and leadership teams.

    • Minimum bachelor's degree in business or human resources or a related field
    • 10+ years of professional experience, ideally including extensive HR or work/organizational psychology background and at least 5 years of dedicated employee relations experience within an ER function
    • Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws relevant to the supported countries or regions
    • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations cases, including discrimination and harassment matters
    • Labor relations experience
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience, tact, and respect in sensitive situations
    • Proficiency in English, German language skills preferred

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting global employee populations, ideally in manufacturing, warehouse, or other high‑volume labor environments
    • Legal background highly desirable
    • Training or certification in mediation, organizational/work psychology, or related areas

    You will oversee the performance and continuous improvements of our product quality along the entire product life cycle – form the product idea and development to market introduction and volume manufacturing until the end of the product life.

    As our customers perspective is in our focus you will drive non-conformances out of the global install base of our products to the root cause & corrective action (RCCA) process. To this end, you will act as the central quality function within the Clean product line acting in a cross-functional environment of all product aspects, such as development / engineering, supply chain and manufacturing. In this leading quality position, you will make the difference of the non-conformance management towards quality excellence.

    What you'll do

      Act as an interface to the regional quality program leaders (QPLs) and the functional quality managers (FQMs) in a worldwide network
      Actively monitoring of quality performance and incoming quality records, report quality performance to defined quality objectives
      Drive decisions for quality investigations and improvements in a cross functional team environment Lead cross functional quality teams
      Prevent quality escapes upfront in the early product development stage, by using adequate quality methods and by driving lessons learned form the Install base quality into the development programs.
      Analyse quality performance data and trends, identify systematics, initiate systematically improvements on our products and the quality management system
      Bridge quality performance to financial impact (Cost of Quality) and the quality improvements activities
      Act as a quality mentor for quality case owners (QCOs)

    • Technical background on Semiconductor Equipment

    • Fundamental understanding and experience in quality management systems (QMS)
    • Experience in Quality methods like 8D
    • Project management capabilities, leadership skills
    • Data analysis capabilities - from data mining to data analysis and conclusions
    • Fluent English is a must, German language skills are beneficial
    • Quality certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus

    The Impact You'll Make

    The Clean Key Account Technologist (KAT) will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturingrelationships with our key customers.     Join Lam as a Business Operations Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your systems knowledge and business process acumen, you expertly collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements.     Join Lam as an Electrical Engineer and you'll be at the forefront, designing and developing electronic solutions for advanced applications. Your role involves designing and analyzing equipment, conducting experimental tests, evaluating results to create reliable cutting-edge solutions.

    What you'll do

    • You will be responsible for the design of new products and lifecycle management of existing electronic circuits.
    • You will be responsible for component selection, design, development, testing and evaluation of control circuits for our machines.
    • You will work with a multidisciplinary engineering design team: electrical, mechanical, software, technical support, productivity engineers, and suppliers, on the design, modification, of custom and OEM components.
    • You will need to prepare and analyze test plans and procedures to assure that technical and operational requirements are met and properly demonstrated.
    • You will be responsible for the collection and analysis of relevant material and data in preparation of your presentation at design, project, and program reviews.

    Who we're looking for

    • Master degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of industry experience or Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience or Technical college (HTL) with 3-5 years of relevant work experience
    • Hands-on expertise in application of power and controls technologies for systems automation.
    • Knowledgeable in CAD tools for circuit design and simulation (e.g., PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD).
    • Solid understanding of AC/DC Power distribution systems.
    • System level knowledge of Electrical architecture, system integration, and applications.
    • Very good oral and written communication skills in English
    • Excellent IT knowledge, e.g. MS Windows, MS Office products

    Prefered Qualifications:

    • Experience with field busses (e.g. EtherCAT), measurement and controls technology

    Manages people who lead cross-functional teams that are focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system from design to release for customers. Develops, defines and executes project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with external customers or field-based employees on technical matters, as needed. Assigns and monitors work of project/program management staff, providing technical support and direction. This position is most common in a matrix type organization, where the position does not have true responsibility over product development but does have overall product/program/project management responsibility, i.e. coordinating efforts leading to product release.     What you'll do

    Lam's NPI Materials Manager manages a team of Materials program and project managers through all stages of product development from R&D to volume manufacturing to ensure PDR (product development and release) deliverables are completed with high quality and within programs timeline. Works in a cross -functional team environment within a matrix organization with internal customers, including high level executives. Acts as point of contact for all escalations from Product group to Supply Chain, liaison between Engineering Product management and Supply Chain functional organization. Hires, manages, and develops Materials Program and Project managers for NPI programs. Responsible for organizational and individual development of all direct reports within Lam's performance management program.

    • Materials Program Manager prescribed responsibilities as outlined in Lam's design process
    • Develop cost reductions roadmaps to meet product cost targets
    • Work with Supply Chain to develop sourcing strategies and sourcing plans to meet cost and lead time targets
    • Transition to High Volume deliverables (Pilot to High Volume)
    • Suppliers ramp readiness assessment, critical parts management, lead time reduction and mitigation plans
    • Manage and lead team to support exedite product development by working with supply chain and suppliers as required


    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field. An MBA would be a plus
    • 5+ years' program management experience, preferably in a semiconductor industry environment
    • Deposition/etch equipment product knowledge are beneficial for this role
    • Two+ years' directly managing others
    • Good knowledge of manufacturing methods and commodities related to cost structure
    • Solid Supply Chain knowledge for critical commodities as related to sourcing decisions and cost strategies
    • Additional required skills include leadership skills, strategic thinking, attention to detail for everyday tactical execution, and excellent people and presentation skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German knowledge would be an asset
