We at NOA support our clients with workbench and tools to bring AV archives out of the dark into the light for the eternity plus one day. For more than 25 years we managed to help service providers, archives and broadcasters worldwide to saveguard their AV collection by delivering standard solutions built in workflows with NOA tools. So far around more than 6 mio hours have been saved with NOA systems worldwide.

    Role Description:
    Solution Rollout and Standards Specialist

    Purpose:
This role ensures that NOA systems and standard workflows are successfully rolled out, properly documented, and effectively supported at customer sites, and that internal tools, reference platforms, and configurations remain up to date and validated

    Aufgaben

    Customer Rollout & Documentation

    • Ensures that NOA systems are rolled out at customer sites and clients receive appropriate documentation reflecting their specific installation.
    • Ensures that standard NOA workflows are well rolled out on the client side and fully understood by client stakeholders.
    • Ensures that the Runtime Environment (RTE) of the clients meets all prerequisites prior to installation and go live.

    Training & Onboarding

    • Ensures that effective training sessions for end users on NOA products and workflows are developed and delivered.
    • Ensures that role specific documentation and handouts are provided for users, tailored to system configurations.

    Support Operations

    • Ensures that remote support (e.g., via AnyDesk) is performed efficiently, maintaining infrastructure independence.
    • Ensures that issues are properly troubleshooted and escalated following defined workflows.
    • Ensures that support requests get reduced by providing standard technotes (increase support resolution times) and online video tutorials which are also used for enhancing external AI driven Chatbots

    Rollout & Ramp Up Management

    • Ensures that all prerequisites are verified before rollout and installations at customer sites.
    • Ensures that ramp up phases are overseen, providing on site or remote assistance as needed.

    • Ensures that all installation steps are properly documented and shared with relevant stakeholders.

    Workflow Change Tracking

    • Ensures that changes in workflows are documented internally and externally so that support teams can accurately track their functionality.

Internal System Sizing & Reference Platforms

    • Ensures that the internal system sizing tool (Excel based) is maintained, version controlled, and well documented.
    • Ensures that current and projected workflows, media formats, and processing logic are accurately reflected in the sizing model.
    • Ensures that valid capacity estimations for compute throughput, storage volume, server count, and network load are provided to project teams.
    • Ensures that recommended standard server platforms (e.g., Dell Rxxx, HP ProLiant) are specified annually with up to date configurations and availability, along with sample servers.
    • Ensures that baseline tests are performed on these reference platforms to validate their suitability for typical workloads (e.g., transcoding, file transfer, concurrent processing).

What happens if this is not ensured?

    • Customers receive inconsistent or incomplete installations, leading to operational issues and dissatisfaction.
    • Workflows are misunderstood or incorrectly used, causing inefficiencies and increased support cases.
    • Runtime environments fail to meet prerequisites, leading to failed deployments and project delays.
    • Support teams lack proper documentation, resulting in slower incident resolution and poor customer experience.
    • Internal sizing tools and reference platforms become outdated, leading to misaligned capacity planning and unreliable system performance.
