Our client is a dynamic company in the renewable energy sector, driving the global energy transition with innovative solutions. To strengthen the team, we are looking for an experienced M&A Manager (f/m/d) who will play a key role in managing acquisitions and divestments within an ambitious strategy. This position offers you the opportunity to work closely with top‑level executives, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to a sustainable future.
Your Responsibilities
Take ownership of large‑scale M&A projects and ongoing transactions, supporting the Head of M&A in all strategic and operational aspects
Identify and evaluate acquisition and divestment opportunities as well as internal M&A initiatives
Prepare proposals for the investment committee and lead due diligence processes across finance, tax, legal, and technical areas
Review and draft transaction documents such as teasers, information memoranda, letters of intent, and purchase agreements
Support negotiations on valuations, deal structures, and coordinate with internal departments (Finance, Legal, Asset Development, Country Units)
Manage relationships with investors and external advisors (financial, legal, technical) to ensure smooth transaction execution
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to advance and implement the M&A strategy
Your Profile
Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration with a focus on Investment Banking or Corporate Finance
4–6 years of relevant experience in M&A, preferably in the energy or renewable sector
Strong understanding of business models and market dynamics in renewable energy
Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills combined with hands‑on experience in complex projects
Outstanding organizational and communication skills, including professional presentation and negotiation abilities
Fluent in English; additional German skills are an advantage
Structured, efficient working style under time pressure and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset

For this position, our client offers an attractive annual gross salary starting at EUR 100,000. This amount represents the fixed base compensation for an all‑in contract. The final package will be individually agreed based on your qualifications and experience.
