We test and consult on products involving the human body with strong focus on food, pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, medical devices and cosmetics. With our Headquarters in Berlin, Tentamus is represented in 100 locations across 23 countries, with just under 4,000 highly trained staff members.

    Tentamus Pharma Company, is seeking a commercially driven and transformational Head of Project Management to build and lead a cross-site project management organization across our pharmaceutical laboratory services. As part of our next growth phase, we are expanding our capabilities and strengthening our leadership team.

    This is not a traditional PMO role. The position carries primary responsibility for the commercial performance, revenue recognition, and profitability of project-based business. It represents the key differentiator to a classical operational PM function and is central to aligning delivery excellence with profitable growth.

    We are seeking a leader who can transform project management from a coordination-focused function into a commercially accountable business partner actively contributing to growth, customer retention, and customer expansion.


    Aufgaben
    • Lead and develop a cross-site project management organization
    • Drive commercial performance, forecasting accuracy, and revenue recognition
    • Build scalable and standardized PM structures, governance, and KPI frameworks
    • Strengthen executive-level customer engagement and key account governance
    • Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance to support profitable growth
    • Drive identification of upselling and additional service opportunities
    • Establish a commercially focused and performance-driven PM culture
    • Responsibility for our global project portfolio

    Profil
    • Degree in Life Sciences and formal Project Management certification
    • 8+ years of project management experience within CRO, biotech, or laboratory services
    • Strong commercial mindset with experience in revenue ownership and customer-facing roles
    • Experience leading multi-site or cross-functional PM organizations
    • Structured, delivery-focused leadership style combined with strong business acumen
    • Confident communicator with executive-level customer interaction experience
    • Fluent English required; German advantageous

    Du stellst sicher, dass unsere Proben zuverlässig, sicher und strukturiert durch alle Prozessschritte laufen – von der Annahme über die Lagerung bis hin zum Versand an externe Labore. Dabei behältst du stets Qualität, Dokumentation und regulatorische Vorgaben im Blick.

    Deine Aufgaben:

    • Entgegennahme, Prüfung und systemseitige Erfassung von Proben gehören zu deinen zentralen Aufgaben
    • Für die vollständige Kennzeichnung, Dokumentation und lückenlose Rückverfolgbarkeit der Proben trägst du die Verantwortung
    • Im Rahmen deiner Tätigkeit überwachst du die temperaturkontrollierte Lagerung und führst regelmäßige Inventuren durch
    • Die Organisation des Versands an externe Labore inklusive geeigneter Verpackungs- und Transportlösungen liegt in deinem Aufgabenbereich
    • Eine konsequente Einhaltung regulatorischer Anforderungen (GMP/GLP, Chain of Custody) stellst du jederzeit sicher
    • Die Zusammenarbeit mit Labor, Qualitätsmanagement und Projektmanagement bildet eine wichtige Schnittstelle deiner Rolle
    • Bei der SAP-Auftragsanlage sowie administrativen Prozessen unterstützt du das Team im Tagesgeschäft
    • Zusätzlich bringst du dich aktiv in die Optimierung bestehender Prozesse und die Weiterentwicklung unserer SOPs ein

    • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Studium im Bereich Chemie, Biologie, Labortechnik oder vergleichbar
    • Erste Erfahrung im Labor-, Pharma- oder Biotech-Umfeld von Vorteil
    • Kenntnisse in GMP/GLP sowie im Probenmanagement wünschenswert
    • Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office, SAP-Kenntnisse von Vorteil
    • Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse
    • Strukturierte, sorgfältige und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise
    • Ausgeprägtes Organisationsgeschick sowie Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
