    As an AI Inhouse Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s AI strategy within an engineering consultancy environment. Embedded within the Digitization arm of the Digital Solutions Team, you will act as the bridge between strategic AI vision and practical implementation, translating high‑level AI concepts into structured, value‑driven initiatives and managing them end‑to‑end as both projects and products. Your Responsibilities Translate strategic AI objectives into actionable initiatives aligned with business goals. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases across engineering, operations, and corporate functions. Lead AI initiatives end‑to‑end, from ideation through deployment and scaling. Manage cross‑functional teams including IT, business units, external partners, and vendors to design AI/ML solutions that meet business needs. Evaluate and select AI tools, platforms, and partners. Oversee model lifecycle including development, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Ensure ethical AI practices and governance frameworks are applied. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deploy inhouse AI-driven applications tailored to VTU’s engineering and business needs. You will translate defined AI use cases into robust, scalable, and production-ready solutions, working closely with the AI Inhouse Consultant, business stakeholders, and IT teams. This role is hands‑on and technical, focused on building real applications that deliver measurable value across the organization. This role is critical in turning AI strategy into tangible solutions. The AI Developer will directly build the tools and applications that enable VTU to leverage AI in daily operations, improving efficiency, quality, and innovation across the organization.
