    • Lead programs [insert group/functional area] related projects to solve complex business problems.

    • Solid experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders
    • Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support
    • Proven experience in dealing with global suppliers
    • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English

    As a Global Product Support Engineer at Lam, you're the backbone of technical support for field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel. Your expertise is crucial in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex semiconductor equipment. Your swift action in responding to situations is critical in resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction of Lam's valued customers.

    What you'll do

    • Responsible for providing quality on-site repair and maintenance service of complex electro-mechanicalsystems. Analytical troubleshooting of technical problems to component level
    • Performs complete installation/relocation start-up services
    • Troubleshoots equipment problems and conduct diagnostic procedures to isolate problems and take stepsto minimize downtime or system interruptions and eliminate equipment malfunctions. Determine correctiveactions as required
    • Performs installations and/or relocations of equipment at customers' sites
    • Remains up to date on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals and otherrelevant materials
    • Assists in complex field modifications and updates as released in Engineering Change Notifications
    • Maintains records and reports as required to properly coordinate activities with supervisors and customers
    • Responsible for Planning, management, and execution of projects of a limited scope and duration
    • Coaches less experienced collegues within job scope

    • Technical education in electronics, engineering or other applicable field of study (HTL/Bachelor)
    • 10+ years of work experience, including 3+ years of relevant semi-conductors work experience
    • Solid knowledge of Clean-Technology products
    • Able to work rapidly for prolonged periods of time, including bending, stooping, reaching, walking, sittingand standing in one location
    • Understand and work from electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams
    • Ability to interpret operation manuals to determine root cause of tool failures
    • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Work independently, cooperatively in a team or with customers completing assignments with minimalsupervision and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads
    • Adhere to customer rules and policies regarding worksite behavior and safety
    • Able to travel frequently (80%) internationally, including to Asia and USA

    What you'll do

    • Develop, improve, and standardize test methods and test fixtures for Lam products.
    • Lead test fixture transitions to suppliers, including training, documentation, and on-site support when required.

    • Maintain and update test documentation and test fixture Bills of Materials (BOMs) as required.
    • Drive continuous yield, quality, and process improvements through test data analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
    • Support the introduction of new products/components, design changes, or process updates by assessing test impact and readiness at supplier sites.
    • Define and maintain supplier test best practices to ensure consistency across remote factories.
    • Escalate unresolved or systemic issues to Leads, or Supervisors in a timely and structured manner.
    • Perform system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical testing and troubleshooting.
    • Utilize test and diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
    • Define and document test and diagnostic programs, including procedures to support testing of new components based on Non Standard Request or Change Orders.
    • Design and develop cost-effective testing methods for systems and equipment throughout product development and manufacturing phases.
    • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team, suppliers, account teams, and Supplier Engineering Technology (SET) members to ensure seamless integration and smooth transitions.
    • Work with internal and external stakeholders to influence decisions and drive company objectives

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualification
    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in test engineering, manufacturing engineering, or supplier support roles
    • Experience with test stands and programming (Python, LabVIEW, C, or C++ preferred)
    • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and technical documentation
