The Impact You Will Make

At Lam, as a Supplier Test Technician, you play a critical role in supporting the design, testing, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, and specialized test equipment. Using schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation, you perform thorough testing and troubleshooting, including fault isolation and support in identifying effective corrective actions under the guidance of Supplier Test Engineers.

In this role, you directly contribute to resolving day-to-day test-related line-down issues at remote factory sites, ensuring continuity of operations and maintaining high standards of quality and reliability across Lam's engineering systems.

What You Will Do

Execute and support test processes and test fixtures for Lam systems in accordance with defined procedures and work instructions

Improve and update test fixtures at remote factory locations under guidance of Supplier Test Engineers

Support test fixture transitions, duplication, rebuilds, and setup activities in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering teams and Supplier Test Engineer

Provide remote and on-site support during test-related line-down situations to restore production quickly and safely

Perform system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical testing and troubleshooting

Use test and diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus

Accurately document failures, corrective actions, and fixture updates to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement through lam system

Maintain and update test documentation and test fixture Bills of Materials (BOMs) as required

Escalate unresolved or systemic issues to Supplier Test Engineers, Leads, or Supervisors in a timely and structured manner

Support Manufacturing Engineering activities in cleanroom production, including assembly instruction support and BOM verification for test fixtures

Ensure compliance with Lam quality, safety, and cleanroom standards

Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support daily manufacturing operations

Technical education in Electronics or Mechatronics (Technical High School preferred) or equivalent experience

Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience

Solid understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals

Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, repair, testing, or troubleshooting of equipment or electronic systems

Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices is a plus

As Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in the Austria HR Team, you will collaborate with your internal clients in developing and delivering people solutions to business needs.

• Partner with leadership to develop and implement effective organizational and people-related strategies
• Collaborate with your internal clients to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results
• Deliver people solutions to creatively solve business challenges in areas such as employee engagement, workforce planning, cultural change, compensation review and change management
• Guide and coach people managers on how to appropriately manage and resolve people or organizational challenges (e.g. sucession planning, performance management, conflict management, retention)
• Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.
• Partner with other HRBPs, cross functional teams and HR COEs such as Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition in developing and delivering the best practices to the business groups
• Analyze and interpret data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions to your client group. Use relevant sources to produce key indicators and insights to the business to monitor the effectiveness of the people agenda.
• Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives, develop and interpret local HR policies, procedures, guidelines, and programs ensuring alignment with Lam Research Corporate Programs while meeting the local business needs and compliance.

• Minimum bachelor's degree in business or human resources
• 10+ years of experience in HR for multiple disciplines
• At least 5 years of HR business partnering experience
• Passionate in making a difference and in playing a role in organization transformation
• Experience developing and leading strategic staffing initiatives
• Ability to work collaboratively across organizations
• Ability to build trusted partnerships and influence outcomes at varying levels of the business
• Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills and ability to handle sensitive situations/documentation
• Strong skills in spoken and written German (native level) and English language

As a member of the Reliant Single Wafer Clean Business Operations group, you will be a key contributor to ensuring alignment between Customer, Account Team Sales and Factory operations. Responsible for aligning customer specification requirements and Hardware configurations to best support our customers focused on Specialty Technology and Advanced Packaging.

• Support the full life cycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from concept to productization including conceptualization, designing, CAD modeling, development, and test/validation.
• Designs components using variety of metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coatings.
• Ensure documentation aligns with SEMI, Lam standards, and industry best practices for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Conduct detailed analysis including structural, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal, heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid and gas flow dynamics, and manufacturability to properly specify designs.
• Develop and conduct feasibility studies and test plans to characterize and validate design performance.
• Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, evaluation, and validation to a diverse audience in design reviews.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure solutions can be manufactured with high-quality, cost-optimized, and to requirements.
• Provide key deliverables including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), technical specifications, risk analysis, test specifications, and design review presentations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to more junior engineers.

Who we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years; or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills.
• Highly proficient in 3D CAD tools such as CREO, Siemens NX, ProE, SolidWorks, and others.
• Hands-on experimental and design background coupled with solid engineering skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in Semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Experience in project management, managing projects, or problem solving while managing time and multiple priorities.

• Endmontage & Test (Teile/Module/Komponenten/Plattformen)

Arbeitszeiten

Die Arbeitszeiten können innerhalb des Gleitzeitrahmens flexibel gestaltet werden.

Woche 1: Der Gleitzeitrahmen Frühdienst umfasst die Wochentage Montag bis Donnerstag von 4:00 bis 14:15 Uhr und Freitag von 4:00 bis 17:00 Uhr.

Woche 2: Der Gleitzeitrahmen Spätdienst umfasst die Wochentage Montag bis Donnerstag von 13:45 bis 24:00 Uhr. Freitag ist frei.
