• Elektrische Montage und Prüfung von Anlagen für die Halbleiterherstellung
• Elektrische Inbetriebnahme - Konfiguration und Dokumentation (z. B. Produktionsplan, technische Zeichnungen, Schaltpläne, interne Prüfprotokolle usw.)
• Strukturierte Diagnose und Problembehebung
• Durchführung von definierten Prüfschritte nach dem internen Prüfprotokoll und Sicherstellung der Qualitätsstandards

Working within the Lab Operations organization will have as main duties the support of the daily lab tools operations.

• Troubleshooting and regular maintenance of the lab equipment
• Mechanical and electrical start-up of new lab tools
• Support the process engineers in executing the customer demonstrations
• Support product development by conducting design validation tests and delivering improvement proposals
• Documents the tools configuration and reports the tests results
• Support Lab facilities and willingness to support Lab On-Call team

Who we're looking for

• Accomplished Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship (LAP); Technical high school degree such as HTL and FBS would be preferred

As a Quality Engineer at Lam, you'll make an impact in ensuring manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards by designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance within the quality management systems (QMS). You design methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the accuracy of production processes and finished products. By analyzing production data and reports, you identify trends and work across functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges. At Lam, as an EH&S Engineer, you're instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental safety programs and policies. Who We're Looking For

• Technical education on technical Highschool (HTL) or equivalent
• Safety degree, experience, and certifications are required:
• Minimum 5 year's experience in workplace safety (Safety officer – Sicherheitsvertrauensperson)
• Certified as workplace safety specialist (Sicherheitsfachkraft) according Austrian law
• Familiar with quality management and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 27001, 45001)
• Good knowledge of EHS regulations, codes, guidelines, and agencies
• Very good German and English communication skills
• Familiarity with working in a semiconductor laboratory and on semiconductor equipment

The impact you'll make

Join Lam as an Electrical Engineer and you'll be at the forefront, designing and developing electronic solutions for advanced applications. Your role involves designing and analyzing equipment, conducting experimental tests, evaluating results to create reliable cutting-edge solutions.

What you'll do

• You will be responsible for the design of new products and lifecycle management of existing electronic circuits.
• You will be responsible for component selection, design, development, testing and evaluation of control circuits for our machines.
• You will work with a multidisciplinary engineering design team: electrical, mechanical, software, technical support, productivity engineers, and suppliers, on the design, modification, of custom and OEM components.
• You will need to prepare and analyze test plans and procedures to assure that technical and operational requirements are met and properly demonstrated.
• You will be responsible for the collection and analysis of relevant material and data in preparation of your presentation at design, project, and program reviews.

Who we're looking for

• Master degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of industry experience or Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience or Technical college (HTL) with 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Hands-on expertise in application of power and controls technologies for systems automation.
• Knowledgeable in CAD tools for circuit design and simulation (e.g., PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD).
• Solid understanding of AC/DC Power distribution systems.
• System level knowledge of Electrical architecture, system integration, and applications.
• Very good oral and written communication skills in English
• Excellent IT knowledge, e.g. MS Windows, MS Office products

Prefered Qualifications:

• Experience with field busses (e.g. EtherCAT), measurement and controls technology
• Able to drive functional requirements and execute in a dynamic team environment
• Familiar with design for serviceability, manufacturability, reliability, etc.
• Proficient at troubleshooting systems with tools like network sniffers, protocol analyzers, and tool logs
• Experience in troubleshooting with problem-solving techniques like 5-why, 8D, fishbones, etc.
• Appreciates learning and understanding challenges and limitations within other disciplines on system designs
