The impact you'll make

As a Systems Engineer at Lam, you'll design complex frameworks, systems, or products for our wafer fabrication equipment. You will define system specifications, requirements, parameters, and compatibility to integrate hardware, software, and firmware into a cohesive system. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving system design weaknesses combined with your multi-layered technical expertise you help shape the next generation of Lam initiatives.

What you'll do

• Is the lead engineer of a development program (product), making sure that mechanical and electrical hardware and the tool software work together to meet the system specification
• Owns developing the system specification based on the product specification and configuration options
• Is accountable for resolving design tradeoffs/conflicts to ensure the design is integrated, such that the overall product performs as described in the system specification
• Assures that the system meets engineering- and compliance standards, especially in the concept and detailed design phases
• Owns BOM (bill of material) setup and execution of the documentation release plan
• Prepares all required program/product related Engineering deliverables (e.g. FMEA, technical specifications, risk analyses)
• Technical responsible that all interfaces for the entire product are well defined and working
• Participates in the cost allocation model and assures that designs meet the cost targets

The Impact You'll Make

At Lam, as an EH&S Engineer, you're instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental safety programs and policies. Who We're Looking For

• Technical education on technical Highschool (HTL) or equivalent
• Safety degree, experience, and certifications are required:
• Minimum 5 year's experience in workplace safety (Safety officer – Sicherheitsvertrauensperson)
• Certified as workplace safety specialist (Sicherheitsfachkraft) according Austrian law
• Familiar with quality management and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 27001, 45001)
• Good knowledge of EHS regulations, codes, guidelines, and agencies

Arbeitszeiten

Die Arbeitszeiten können innerhalb des Gleitzeitrahmens flexibel gestaltet werden.

Woche 1: Der Gleitzeitrahmen Frühdienst umfasst die Wochentage Montag bis Donnerstag von 4:00 bis 14:15 Uhr und Freitag von 4:00 bis 17:00 Uhr.

Woche 2: Der Gleitzeitrahmen Spätdienst umfasst die Wochentage Montag bis Donnerstag von 13:45 bis 24:00 Uhr. Freitag ist frei.

• Mechanische Montage und Inbetriebnahme von Anlagen für die Halbleiterfertigung
• Montage von chemischen Verbindungen
• Strukturierte Diagnose und Problemlösung
• Durchführung der definierten Testschritte gemäß internem Testprotokoll und Sicherstellung der Qualitätsstandards
• Aktive Teilnahme bei der Übergabe von Entwicklungsprojekten an die Produktion
• Aktiver Wissensaustausch (z. B. interne Schulungen, Lieferantenschulungen)
• Überprüfung der Dokumentation, des Materials und der eventuellen Abweichungen
• Kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Produkte und Arbeitsabläufe (z.B. Dokumentation, interne Testaufzeichnung usw.) durch aktive Kommunikation und Zusammenarbeit mit der internen Kunden und Lieferanten

Wen wir suchen

Abgeschlossene Ausbildung im technischen Bereich (Lehre, Fachschule, HTL) mit Schwerpunkt Mechatronik oder Maschinenbau

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Technisches Verständnis und analytisches Denken
• Sehr gute EDV-Kenntnisse (MS Office Anwendungen, SAP Kenntnisse von Vorteil)
• Gute Englischkenntnisse
• Erste Berufserfahrung von Vorteil, aber nicht zwingend notwendig
• Genauer und strukturierter Arbeitsstil

Die Einstellung erfolgt über ein Personalbereitstellungs-Unternehmen.

Diese Position unterliegt dem Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte in der Österreichischen Metalltechnischen Industrie der Berufsgruppe D oder E, abhängig von der Ausbildung. Eine höhere Bezahlung ist je nach Fachwissen und Erfahrung verhandelbar.

Arbeitszeiten

Die Arbeitszeiten können innerhalb des Gleitzeitrahmens flexibel gestaltet werden.

Woche 1: Der Gleitzeitrahmen Frühdienst umfasst die Wochentage Montag bis Donnerstag von 4:00 bis 14:15 Uhr und Freitag von 4:00 bis 17:00 Uhr.

Woche 2: Der Gleitzeitrahmen Spätdienst umfasst die Wochentage Montag bis Donnerstag von 13:45 bis 24:00 Uhr. Freitag ist frei.
