In this role, your responsibilities will include:Preparing high-quality proposals that meet customer expectations, on time and within budget.Defining resource needs and overseeing resource planning.Translating customer requirements into optimized project definitions.Coordinating the tender team, providing essential information, coaching, and motivation.Ensuring consistency and completeness in proposals and proper document administration.Supporting the preparation of various plans, including the Master Schedule, Building Strategy, and Management Plans.Liaising with other departments to align information and deliver optimal proposal outcomes.Reviewing cost calculations for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project definitions.Engaging in discussions with customers on proposals alongside the Key Account Manager.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:At least 5 years of experience as a Tender Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the defense, shipbuilding, or offshore industry.Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical skills to translate customer requirements into feasible project definitions and accurate cost calculations.Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with the ability to oversee resource needs and ensure timely delivery of proposals.High attention to detail to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy in proposals and documentation.Good command of the Dutch & English language (written & verbal).Available for frequent international travelling.Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
