    Aufgaben
    • Data-based control and monitoring of the plasma etch process using machine or measurement data
    • Solving process or equipment problems in close cooperation with various departments or external suppliers
    • Evaluating and implementing possible process simplifications/improvements to reduce manufacturing costs, increase process yield and improve product robustness
    • Transferring new technologies to production in collaboration with R&D and process integration
    • Interface with other technical areas (e.g. maintenance, R&D, line control, suppliers, etc.) and other relevant departments (e.g. quality)

    Profil
    • Successfully completed degree (Master) in engineering or natural sciences or comparable
    • Several years of professional experience in technical areas required
    • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and project-oriented working style
    • Advanced problem solving skills (8D, Six Sigma)
    • Independent, responsible and team-oriented way of working
    • Willingness to take on new tasks and solve them as part of a team or as cross-functional technical lead.
    • Well organized and able to work with diverse requirements
    • Good written and spoken German and English skills

    • Development and implementation of a robust production planning and control system ensuring alignment with corporate standards and production readiness

    Profil

    • Minimum of five years of experience in production planning, ideally in the electronics or semiconductor industry
    • Proven leadership background with at least three years in managing teams within manufacturing or supply chain environments
    • In-depth knowledge of planning systems such as SAP combined with the ability to implement system improvements or lead transformation projects
    • Practical application of LEAN principles, shop floor management, and operational curve methodology to drive efficiency in production settings
    • Strong analytical capabilities supported by solid mathematical and data skills to assess demand, supply, and capacity scenarios

    Aufgaben

    As a Process Quality Engineer for the CMOS front-end wafer production line, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of process quality and reliability across semiconductor manufacturing operations at site Premstätten. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including process engineering, process integration, production and failure analysis to monitor, analyze and improve process performance, yield and compliance with internal and customer requirements.

    Process Monitoring & Control:

    • Develop and maintain process control plans for CMOS wafer fabrication steps
    • Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) and ensure statistical process control (SPC) charts to detect deviations and drive corrective actions
    • Participating in risk assessments, MRB's (Material Review Board) and PCRB (Process Change Management Board) as accountable for CMOS quality

    Quality Assurance:

    • Participate in and lead 8D teams to find root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process-related quality issues
    • Ensure proper usage of quality tools and business processes like Change Management, 8D, SPC, FDC, FMEA and DOE to drive continuous improvement
    • Support internal and external audits, including customer quality assessments and ISO/IATF compliance

    Yield & Defect Reduction:

    • Collaborate with process and yield engineers to identify yield detractors and implement improvement initiatives

    Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate documentation of quality procedures, specifications and process changes and prepare regular reports on process quality performance and improvement activities for internal and external stakeholders

    Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Interface with R&D, production and customer quality teams to ensure smooth technology transfers and ramp-up of new CMOS processes
    • Provide quality input during new product introduction (NPI) and process qualification phases.

    Profil
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, materials science, physics, or related field
    • 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in CMOS front-end processes
    • Strong knowledge of SPC, FMEA, 8D and other quality tools
    • Experience with MES, defect analysis tools and data visualization platforms
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills
    • Fluent in German and English (both verbal and written)
