    Aufgaben
    • Independent check of all invoices for direct (LRI) and indirect (Lam AG) materials regarding, quantity, price, address, material, terms, tax code and book them in SAP.
    • File all invoices for direct material according legal requirements
    • Booking and releasing invoices
    • Support any kind of financial and customs audit
    • CFT support: Purchasing, Warehouse
    • GR/IR List (created by US) to be verified.
    • Execution of early payment discount
    • Creation and control of suppliers payment statement lists
    • Review list of blocked invoices and its approvals/authorizations and DE-block
    • Request additional approvals from dept. heads for AG invoices where needed
    • Work with Warehouse (GR bookings for indirect material, DE-booking process if something is wrong etc.)

    • Business education in Finance/Accounting
    • with accounting exam
    • relevant experience 3 years

    Preferred qualifications

    • Good oral and written communication skills in English and German
    • Very good knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    The impact you'll make

    At Lam, as an Accountant, you're central to managing and enhancing our accounting systems. With a keen eye for detail, you interpret financial reporting requirements, balance the books, and ensure accuracy of profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet statements. Your expertise extends to monthly report generation, supporting informed decision making. You contribute to Lam's financial accuracy and compliance.

    What you'll do

    • General Accounting tasks such as Debitor/Creditor Accounting, Asset Management, Bank
    • Monthly Closes
    • Support in any internal and external Audits
    • Year End Preparations and contact person for Tax advisor and Auditors
    • PoI for ESG reporting
    • Prepare audit documentation in a clear, concise, and timely manner
    • Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Controls testing, and review testing procedures performed by other team members
    • Participate in other projects or assignments as requested such as SAP S/4 Hana
    • Preparation of monthly declarations

    Profil

    Who we're looking for

    • Profound Accounting education with Accountant exam
    • SAP experience
    • Excellent writting and oral communication skills
    • German language skills required
    • Good problem solving abilities
    • Microsoft Office applications especially Excel

    Preferred qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; or 3 years and an Accountant exam or equivalent work experience

    • End-to-end general ledger for several legal entities (Europe), including intercompany, FX, fixed assets, prepayments, accruals.
    • Month/quarter/year-end close: journals, reconciliations, analytics; deliver a clean P&L and BS pack to FP&A and Group.
    • A reconciliation suite across cash, creditors, debtors, FA, prepayments, settlement accounts - operate and improve SOX-aligned controls.
    • VAT & withholding tax data preparation and coordination with Tax.
    • Audit readiness: support local and group audits; drive resolution of findings.
    • Process improvement & automation: reduce manual work, standardize across entities.

    What success looks like (6-12 months)

    • Consistently hit close deadlines; zero significant control deficiencies.
    • Balance sheet reconciliations- no material unreconciled items.
    • 2-3 automation wins (e.g., auto-match rules in bank recs, template journals, close checklists).
    • Praised by stakeholders for timely, decision-ready reporting.
