    The Director of Key Account Technology (KAT) will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing relationships with our key customers while developing and growing the team.     Technical Helper for Laboratory Support (m/f/d)

    Aufgaben

    The Lab Support Facility (LSF) at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) supports scientists by providing the necessary laboratory infrastructure. This includes supplying noble gasses such as Helium, Nitrogen in bottle form and liquid form to our laboratory facilities and groups, waste disposal and autoclaving for the areas of biology, chemistry and physics. We are currently looking for a motivated and hands-on worker to perform the following tasks within our team:

    • Functionality checks and maintenance of basic laboratory equipment
    • Supply of laboratories with technical gases (exchange of pressurized gas bottles and refilling of liquid nitrogen tanks)
    • Disposal of hazardous laboratory waste (including inactivation of biological waste)
    • Receipt of goods, such as dry ice, and interaction with contractors
    • On campus distribution of goods, such as glassware and other materials
    • Occasional assistance to laboratory technicians

    Profil
    • Compulsory school leaving certificate
    • Work experience, preferably in a laboratory or similar environment
    • Driver's license class B
    • Good knowledge of German and English (we support with internal language courses)
    • Independent and service-oriented approach to work
    • Good physical condition for transporting heavy containers
    • No implants (magnetic fields in the work area)
    • Availability to start work at 8:00 a.m. from Monday to Friday

    Aufgaben

    The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all infrastructure suppliers and technical aspects of event setups.     Project Planning & Coordination

    • Develop infrastructure plans for each event, considering site logistics, supplier capabilities, and client requirements
    • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., event managers, chefs, logistics) to align infrastructure needs
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

    Supplier & Stakeholder Management

    • Identify, contract, and manage relationships with suppliers for power, lighting, sound, water, and temporary structures
    • Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met
    • Act as the primary point of contact between suppliers and internal teams

    On-Site Management & Troubleshooting

    • Oversee the setup, operation, and dismantling of infrastructure components
    • Conduct site inspections to ensure all elements meet quality, safety, and operational standards
    • Troubleshoot any infrastructure-related issues that arise before or during events

    Budget & Cost Control

    • Develop and manage the infrastructure budget for each event
    • Monitor costs and optimize supplier contracts to maintain cost efficiency
    • Track expenses and report financial performance to senior management

    Profil
    • Proven experience (5+ years) in infrastructure project management within events, catering, or live production industries
    • Strong technical knowledge of temporary event power, water supply, lighting, sound, and structures
    • Excellent supplier management and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
